Compounding
Hampton Colours are happy to provide fully colour compounded materials for customers who require just a few bags of product.
All colours are generally available within 7-10 days of receipt of order
We offer free UK delivery on a next day service for orders of 25kgs and over. A delivery charge within the UK of £8.50 will be added to any orders below that amount.
Colour matching where necessary will normally be free although we reserve the right to charge for colour matching if the quantities are small and/or unlikely to repeat.
As usual it is recommended that the customer approve at least a plaque and preferably a small sample of compound from our laboratory before committing to an order. Our prices for compounding are based entirely on quantity and apply to all the commodity polymers together with most of the engineering ones. They reflect the fact that our machinery, whilst designed to achieve high levels of compounding, is not aimed at high throughputs we therefore do not expect to be competitive for the larger quantities. The prices are based on free issued materials and do not include colouring costs. However in most cases eg pastels, blues, browns and even mid -shades, the pigment/dye will only add a few pence per kilo.
