Special Effects
We continue to be able to offer special effects in colours, such as ‘Glow in the Dark’, Sparkle, Transparent, Pearlescent, Iridescent, wood effect and mottle etc... We have some special effects available ex-stock from our Shade Card such as gold metallic, glow in the dark effect, sparkle, rainbow effect and an iridescent sheen.
However, if you have a specific effect that you need to re-create, we are ready to help by providing either a nearest from our library of over 25,000 colours, or by carrying out a colourmatch to a sample you provide.
Please complete the Colourmatch form and send it to us online, or print off and post in with your sample. Alternatively, call the Technical Department for advice.
However, as our customers seek increased sophistication, so we can provide combination masterbatches that offer at least two effects e.g. colour and UV stabiliser, colour and blowing agent, colour and antisink agents , colour and antisink agents. We are able to create masterbatches, with or without colour, which provide an anti-microbial or pest control effect, or ones that are fragranced, x-ray and laser sensitive, or giving flip/flop interference.
Please call to discuss your requirements with the Technical Team. Colour matching is normally offered free of charge. For custom colours, the minimum order quantity is 5kg and the following surcharges apply.
